2023 savanna science network meetingIn March of 2023 I visited the Kruger National Park, South Africa for their 20th annual Savanna Science Network Meeting. On the last day, I gave a fifteen minute talk about my research on antelope population declines in Kruger over the past thirty years. 2022 GradX ted talkIn April of 2022, I was thrilled to present my waterhole mapping research to a general audience of friends and family for the Graduate School's annual TED-style GradX event. It was incredibly fun and challenging to distill a project that involved years of work and hundreds of lines of code into five minutes of engaging storytelling.
